Immigration Advisers Competency Standards 2016
Pursuant to section 36 of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007, the Minister of Immigration makes the following standards.
- Minimum standards of competence for licences
- CS 1: Qualifications and experience
- CS 2: Knowledge of New Zealand’s immigration advisers licensing scheme
- CS 3: Knowledge of New Zealand immigration law and immigration and operational instructions
- CS 4: Preparing, lodging and administering immigration applications, appeals, requests, claims and other representation
- CS 5: Communicating in English
- CS 6: Conducting business professionally, ethically and responsibly
- CS 7: Continuing professional development
