Digital licences are coming February 2025
From 3 February 2025, we will start rolling out digital licences to licensed immigration advisers.
As of 3 February 2025, we will stop issuing physical licence cards and certificates. If you have a physical ID card and certificate, you can continue using these until they expire.
Instead of receiving a physical certificate and ID card, licensed immigration advisers will be able to download their digital licence straight from the new Immigration Advisers portal. This new digital licence replaces the previous physical ID cards and certificates. Digital licences can be printed or saved to your computer or phone.
Your new digital licence will be in PDF format and will show your photo and details. It will also include a QR code, which others can scan to confirm your status on the public register.
For now, you don’t need to do anything to prepare for this changeover. We will share more information including how to download your licence when it comes available on the Licence Identification (ID) page.
